I’m fitting some Duraline floating shelves on an uneven wall. These are normally relatively simple to fit but the wall causes a few problems due to it being at a dodgy angle.

These Duraline shelves aren’t as good as IKEA Lack shelves… but you make the best of what you’ve got to work with. The wall was massively out of plumb so I had to use wedges behind the brackets to level them out. The wall in this Victorian property was made of ultra-diamond-hard bricks. Not a problem for the SDS drill. I ended up using brown wall plugs for this but in reality red plugs would have been absolutely fine with 10ga screws. Fitted, solid, happy.
